Day 1: Early picking-up from a hotel/guest-house in Khorog and driving to Tem Tajik-Afghan border check-post. Cross over into Afghanistan. Registration at the local police. Afternoon short sightseeing around Bashor. Overnight in a homestay in Bashor. 30 km
Day 2: Driving to Ishkashim along the Panj River. Enjoying the view of the Tajik villages. Overnight in a guest-house in Ishkashim. 120 km
Day 3: Early driving to the center of the Wakhan, Khandud. Short hike uphill to Noshaq (Afghanistan’s highest summit and second highest peak in the Hindukush) valley. 110 km
Day 4: Departing Khandud and driving to Sarhad-e-Broghil village, the last village on the Afghan Wakhan. On the way visiting ruins of Qala-e-Panj fortress. Overnight in a guest-house in Sarhad-e-Broghil. 110 km
Day 5: A day horse riding to Daliz pass (4267 m). Overnight in a guest-house in Sarhad-e-Broghil.
Day 6: Driving back to Qala-e-Panja. Overnight in a guest-house in Qala-e-Panja.110 km
Day 7: Drive to Ishkashim. Overnight in a guest-house in Ishkashim. 110 km
Day 8: Early visit of Sultan Ishkashim bazaar. Drive to Afghan-Tajik border check-post. Cross over into Tajikistan. Drive to Khorog. Overnight in a hotel/homestay in Khorog. 130 km
